ANTIOCH -- A 29-year-old Antioch woman was sentenced to 30 months' probation and 24 months of work-release imprisonment Monday for sexually molesting a 15-year-old boy and videotaping the incidents.
Lake County Judge John T. Phillips sentenced Rebecca Michalak after she pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Michalak, of the 42700 block on North Lake Avenue, was originally charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of child pornography when she was arrested in early October for allegedly having sex with her former boyfriend's teenage son and his friend, another 15-year-old. As part of the negotiated plea, the other charges had been dropped, according to Assistant State's Atty. Craig Pierson.

During Monday's hearing, Phillips also ordered Michalak to perform 100 hours of community service.
From June to September, during which time Michalak lived with her ex-boyfriend and his 15-year-old son in their Channel Lake home, Michalak repeatedly had sex with the boy, prosecutors had said at a bond hearing several weeks ago. The sexual abuse was discovered when the boy's father found a videotape of Michalak and his son having sex and contacted police.
